“At first bleed a woman meets her power. During her bleeding years she practices it. At menopause she becomes it”
– Native American saying
Perimenopause is a time of great change and is often met with a mixture of fear, uncertainty and confusion.
Yoga can be a powerful tool to use in this phase of life, many ancient traditions refer to the Menopausal transition as the ultimate rite of passage where a woman can fully step into and inhabit her power and wisdom of all the life lessons gained thus far.
Perimenopause yoga can help lead the way back home to your sense of self, creating both stability and great opportunity during this time.
What to expect in a perimenopause yoga session
Yoga sessions tailored to this time in your life are restorative and therapeutic in nature – helping with symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, muscle aches and pains and calming the nervous system, helping you to feel more grounded, content and at home in your changing body.

- Yoga asana to support balance, muscle tone and flexibility
- Breathwork to calm and soothe your mind
- Rest
- Learning to listen and trust the deep wisdom of your body
You will leave each session with an understanding and embodied experience of a range of tools that when practiced regularly can help to support your peri-menopause and menopausal journey.
